To determine the mediating effect of both psychological and perceived employee empowerment, a multiple-part survey questionnaire was accomplished by 315 service employees from automotive, communication, financial, information/technology, and manufacturing industries. The multiple-part survey questionnaire include: (a) Empowerment Questionnaire, (b) Psychological Empowerment, and (c) Organizational Performance Survey (OPS). Results revealed that both psychological and perceived employee empowerment has partial mediating effect on empowering organization and organizational performance. This result implies the ability of employee empowerment as measured by psychological and perceived employee empowerment to influence organizational performance.
