Summary: | The study examines the level of organizational culture, organizational citizenship behavior, and level of in-role behavioral sales performance of independent contractors in different sales and marketing offices in Metro Manila. It also examines any significant relation found between their sociodemographic characteristics and their organizational citizenship behavior, their organizational culture and organizational citizenship behavior, and their organizational citizenship behavior and in-role behavioral sales performance. The participants in the study consisted of 71 in-dependent contractors from the sales and marketing industry, from real estate, insurance, banking, fundraising and event promotions offices in Metro Manila, and were selected through non-probability sampling, specifically convenience sampling and purposive sampling. The literature demonstrates low levels of organizational citizenship behavior among temporary workers such as independent contractors. The study revealed high levels of organizational culture, organizational citizenship behavior, and in-role behavioral sales performance among the independent contractors who participated in the study. Significant relationships were also found between their level of organizational culture and level of organizational citizenship behavior, and between their level of organizational citizenship behavior and in-role behavioral sales performance as well. |
