Summary:The study examines the relationship between parents' and teachers' perspectives on, and their involvement in, the transition programs. Specifically, the study seeks to determine the perspectives of the respondents regarding the transition program, their roles and level of involvement, the relationship between involvement and perspectives of parents and teachers, and the difference between parents' and teachers' perspectives on, and involvement in, the said program. The descriptive comparative method of research was utilized. Participants of the study consisted of 99 parents and 76 teachers from five Silahis Centers in the Division of City Schools, Manila. Two sets of questionnaires for parents and teachers were devised. Descriptive statistics such as frequency distribution, and percentages and mean were utilized. Pearson Product Moment Correlation and T-test of significance were further employed.
