Summary:A cross-sectional study was conducted to test the mediating role of work meaningfulness on the relationship between perceived corporate social responsibility (CSR) and work engagement. Previous research identified work meaningfulness has the mediating potential to bring out desirable qualities such as work engagement. There were 401 respondents from different industries of the Philippine private sector; among them were 214 females and 187 males from 21 years old to 63 years old with mean age of 29. The Work and Meaning Inventory Scale, Perceived Corporate Social Responsibility Scale, Utrecht Work Engagement Scale and Marlowe-Crowne Social Desirability Scale Form C were used to obtain data.
