Description
Summary:This paper discusses the use of ABKD, a multimodal mobile learning game that aims to help Filipino students remember and increase their Chinese Hanzi and Japanese Kanji vocabularies by engaging them in a collaborative game-like group activity and challenging their creativity and imagination through drawing, taking pictures, and audio recording. Feedback from language learners reveal that ABKD has the potential to make learning and remembering Hanzi and Kanji characters easier, more fun, and more interesting.
