Significant steps include the optimised enzymatic resolution of an allenic alcohol, highly diastereoselective silver-catalysed cyclisation of an allenic hydroxylamine, selective cross-metathesis, diastereoselective intramolecular reductive amination, and stereoelectronically controlled enolate alkylation.
