Summary:Advertisement pervades our lives. Almost everyone is a consumer and the total purchasing power is very high. We are perpetually exposed to advertising even when we are walking on the streets; we can see the advertisements on the buses and at the bus stops. Hence, advertising has become part of our lives. It may provide a certain amount of entertainment and also provide some information on the products or services. The objective of the report is to determine how different forms of advertising will affect the consumers' buying behaviour. Our report will start with a brief introduction on the background of advertising followed by a detailed dicussion on the criticisms and defenses of advertising.
