Description
Summary:Research interest into vertical take-off and landing(VTOL) aircraft has been prominent in recent years due to the rapid development of technology in the area and the numerous advantages VTOL aircraft have over traditional airplanes and helicopters. With the development of lightweight and low-cost Micro-Electro-Mechanical System(MEMs) sensors, it has become possible to construct models of VTOL aircraft to efficiently and cost-effectively develop control concepts and compare design variations. Leveraging on the multiple peripherals of a Renesas 16 bit microcontroller, a Quadrotor system which consists of various sensors and modules had been designed and implemented.
