Summary:In recent years as Gen Y, with their unique blend of characteristics, becomes an increasingly important part of the workplace, it is imperative to understand their workplace attitudes towards foreign talent. This paper explores the attitudes of Gen Y towards foreign talent and its determinants. Interviews were conducted with 9 youths. Results indicate that generally Gen Y generally views foreign talent positively. They are able to empathize with the foreigners, generally do not see them a threat to their careers and in some cases even enjoyed working with foreign talent.
