Summary: | Sociological studies on food in general have been comprehensive, but many are out-of-date and lack the inclusion of the everyday modern technologies. The high-usage of Web Applications 2.0 calls for the need to study the relatively new trend of food blogging in modern consumer culture. Fairclough’s three-dimensional critical discourse analysis model is used for the analysis of research findings. The discussion of research findings was structured in the following: (i) Food production knowledge power; (ii) Influences of Identity; and (iii) Influences of Food Classification, in which shows the complex interrelationship of factors to affect the perception of food value. |
