Description
Summary:There has been a growing trend in the usage of Unmanned Ground Vehicle across the world. It can be seen highly used in both the military and civilian life to perform human’s duty. Especially in the military, it is used to replace the human in all the dangerous activities so that life will not be loss. The usage of Unmanned Ground Vehicle can be dated back to early 1930s where the first UGV was created for military use. In this project, an unmanned ground vehicle will be created from scratch. The aim is to build a semi-autonomous vehicle which can either be controlled manually or run automatically at a press of buttons on the phone. The vehicle will be build up from individual part at different stages. Finally, when all the individual parts are done, everything will be combined together at the final stage. The whole report will cover the different parts on the process of building the unmanned ground vehicle. The report started off with a slight introduction on the background of unmanned ground vehicle. The project ideas will be discussed next on how the various implementations that can be added onto the vehicle. Discussion on the hardware and software that is used will also be included in this report. Arduino board is the microcontroller used for this project and most of the discussed topic will be related to it. The report will end of with the problems encounter by the author and any other implementations that can be added on for future works.
