Isolation of Cryptococcus neoformans from soil contaminated with pigeon droppings in Bangkok
Three isolations of C. neoformans were obtained from 40 specimens of soil near a temple in Bangkok collected from an area unexposed to direct sunlight. Soil exposed to sunlight failed to give positive results.
