Among them is the canteen business chain; more specific is the canteen to institutions, such in academics or offices. For the purpose of finishing post-graduate thesis from MBA program with minor in Entrepreneurship, and seeing the potential profit from the business, while under benefitted with limited capital, thus the Menu canteen and Cafe business chain become the focus of the Final Project. The methodologies that been used in the thesis are using a comparison between Business Plan and data <br /> <br /> <br /> from implementation. For the evaluation purposes, using quisioner from the consumer, and measuring how many possible consumer using the same quisioner, in financial wise, the tesis used the quick ratio, and several other method to determine The Menu business profitability are also implemented with benchmarking surveys and mock-test to several other related business situations. From the results of studies, including every attempt in solving the problems, the successful or failed attempt to achieve it, to meet the final conclusion whether the business model can be profitable as predicted. The Menu as a business chain of canteen and cafe, combine both the service and F&B industries, with Captive Market in academic or business institution, in hope of gains stable and continuous business, with predicted potential consumer. From the studies conducted and directly applied to the market, the results are made to be applicable and meticulous yet easy-to-comprehend-Standard-Operation-Procedure for the employee in the venture, will ease the the difficulties of training, and knowledge transfer from each employee, finance management, and the development of the venture, and to survive imitations attempts from business rivals, managing relations with the Institution's management, or in declining conditions from business venture itself. text |
