Summary: | Game is ranked as one of the highest in world economy, but the development of this industry in Indonesia is still small, contrasting how Indonesia is the 16th biggest game consumer in the world. One of the reasons of this problem that will be discussed in this final project is how the game developer hardly survived in Indonesia.
Game, is a form of entertainment, which has a competitive mode played according to rules and the result is decided by many factors such as skill, strength, and luck. The latest and most popular game is video game which is played using a digital media consists of console and screen. Video games are sold via many media that is categorized into three: mobile, console, and PC. To understand better which store is the most suitable for selling games, this experiment will include a cross-case method using sample that has already been published.
The experimental game will be created and sold as a merchandise using the planned strategy in the chosen market by the standard of indie developer. The result of the experiment will be checked to confirm if the strategy has errors or problems in the building phase. Lastly it will be cross-cased with the sample parameters to determine if the experiment result is better or not.
The conclusion of this final project is to develop a suitable strategy, test it and check it to determine whether to fix or build a better strategy, to ensure the survivability of Indonesian indie games developer in the game industry.
