Handkerchief has experienced an increase in demand without undertaking a specific marketing strategy. The company was overwhelmed because of the increased demand and sometimes needed to reject some projects. As a growing company, Handkerchief needs some scaling up strategy in order to be more effective and can accommodate the demand. The research started with exploration with doing external analysis which help Handkerchief to determine strategic opportunities and threats in an industry that can affect the company’s growth. The business tools that used in external analysis are Porter’s Five Forces and PEST Analysis. As the result, Handkerchief need to provide wide range of product or services in order to survive in this industry. Before adding a new product and services, the company must fix its existing internal problems by analyzing internal problem. For internal analysis, this research used the Six Development Task and Growing Pains analysis to know current condition of Handkerchief’s company structure which resulted Handkerchief did not have proper formal organizational structure, unclear division of job description, and lack of human resource which resulting in ineffective and inefficient company performance. To give solution for the problems, Handkerchief needs optimal staffing plan to support the company in keeping up with company’s potential, this research compared the same field competitors by benchmarking. This research used 7S McKinsey that contained seven internal elements of organization was used to propose the new organizational structure, strategy and system. Skill, style, staff and shared value were discussed further in staffing plan. After defining all the seven elements, staffing plan can be made by specify the job task and making the job description The job analysis resulted that Handkerchief needed to add new division, improve and design the new job task for each employee which explained in job description which will be defined in this research. To fulfill the position, this research also included the recruitment plan. The implementation of retention plan for company to keep the best people in the company, Handkerchief decided to create a good place to work, not only the environment but also by making the employee can feel being trusted and valued. Allowing flexibility in how and when the employee did their jobs also one of the strategy. This kind of retention strategy helped the company to boost the employee’s spirit and passion in doing their jobs. Beside the staffing, recruitment and retention plan, this research also propose other strategy and opportunity in order for the company to scale up without adding new staffs and still operate efficiently. Hiring outsource and making partnership will be the answer of the new strategy and opportunity. text
