Summary: | The present study explores the teaching beliefs and practices of three college professors from De La Salle-College of St. Benilde, and how they translate and incorporate self-regulated learning (SRL) in their teaching beliefs and practices. In exploring the teaching beliefs and practices, the teachers illustrated specific principles that guide their teaching, and how they view teaching and learning, incorporating SRL in their teaching strategies. The study presents insights about the professors' beliefs and practices on teaching SRL, the ways they incorporate SRL in their teaching, the consistency/inconsistency of their beliefs with real teaching practice, their assessment of SRL as a part of their teaching strategies, and the students' evaluation of the professors' teaching in line with SRL. |
