It focused on the effectiveness of brain-based teaching approach with the integration of technology in teaching biomolecules, photosynthesis and cellular respiration in a biology class in terms of student motivation, learning engagement, knowledge retention and conceptual understanding. The results of the study are envisioned to contribute to the existing literature about the brain-based teaching approach and possibly provide clearer understanding of its effects on student learning using the principles of neuroscience and technology integration.
