Summary:This project examines the impact the Food Grading System has on Singaporean consumers’ choice of food stalls in food courts and hawker centres. Other areas included the assessment of consumers’ use of the Food Grading System and their perception of the Food Hygiene System in Singapore. A literature review, field study (partial self-administered survey) and an interview with the Ministry of Environment officials were conducted in this research.
