“华校” 对传承中华文化的贡献:以醒南小学为个案 = The contribution of “Chinese School” in the continuation of Chinese culture : a case study on Xingnan Primary School
新加坡“华校”为早期的华人提供了教育的机会,不仅提高了新加坡整个社会的素养,也为新加坡培育了一群真正的华英双语双文化人才。虽然传统“华校”走入历史,但“华校”的传统信念和精神却没有因此而消失。然而,“华校”如何继续传承中华传统文化成为华人社会所关注的话题。本文以醒南小学为研究对象,将研究范围定在1988年之后,旨在通过个案研究,着重分析醒南这所邻里学校如何在遵从政府的教育政策的前提下,持续以传承中华传统文化为使命,从而打破只有特选学校才有责任承担传承中华传统文化重任的刻板印象。醒南的前身是一所传统的“华校”,一直以来都很重视中华文化的传承。在成为西区第三校群的华文教育与中华文化学习中心后更是不...
