Description
Summary:Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), known as drone, has several civilian and defense applications. Regardless of which applications the drones are using, it is important for drones are equipped with devices to trace its location. While GPS based drones are commonly used, there will be cases where drones have to traverse in GPS denied environments. While traversing in GPS denied environment, the distance between a fleet of UAVs would be widen due to the position obtained by the GPS receivers would be unreliable. In this project, Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) communication as a means of localization will be investigated and explore its application for an outdoor UAV formation flight.
