Summary: | Land survey for steeply sloping house building can be expensive and require the surveyor to do site analysis to determine the characteristics of the construction area. In this project, a cheaper solution utilizing drone is proposed. A computer vision system based on Raspberry Pi single board computer and cameras was developed. Stereo images collected from this system were processed with Matlab ‘s Computer Vision Toolbox. Depth information extracted from these images were used to construct the contour plot to aid in planning for houses on steep slopes. |
