Investigation of the antioxidants properties of the core of Ananas comosus L
The antioxidant activity of the core of a ripe pineapple was evaluated using the ferric thiocyanate (FTC) method against the alpha-tocopherol. Results from several trials indicate a slight antioxidant activity on the part of the pineapple extract.
