Lee, Jein Macapagal, Lorenzo Miguel B. Serrano, Gabrielle Mikhaila B. Impulse buying behavior (IBB) is commonly practiced in society, however, there is little information about the psychological processes behind the behavior. In the world we live in today, most societies rely heavily on the economic progress and welfare of the people determining a society's circular flow. Impulse buying is considered as a spontaneous action when purchasing items this behavior is usually seen elicited through a trigger, thus something internal or external has to be the source of the pull of that trigger. The model of impulse buying behavior by Chacharkar and Iram (2017) hypothesized various factors that lead to IBB. The researchers then aim to simplify this model down to the more psychologically considered factors and root a simpler model form the original and to test the model empirically by using a quantitative approach and a moderation analysis to find out the significance of the models psychological factors emotional appeal to advertisements (EAA) and self-regulation (SR) and how these factors lead to IBB. 2019-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://animorepository.dlsu.edu.ph/etd_bachelors/7456 Bachelor's Theses English Animo Repository Impulse buying Consumer behavior |
