Summary:This final year project falls under Project A2 of the Continental-NTU Corporate Laboratory and has a project scope of creating a simulation environment for SLAM testing and evaluation for the use-case of a food delivery mobile robot. This final year project report provides detailed documentation of the work accomplished which has been organized into four chapters—Chapter 1 Introduction, Chapter 2 Literature Review, Chapter 3 Project Implementation, Chapter 4 Conclusion and Future Work. Chapter 3 is further broken down into five stages—(1) data collection, (2) meshing, (3) simulation environment exploration, (4) SLAM testing and (5) SLAM evaluation.
