董秋斯 (1899-1969)
董秋斯，原名董绍明，号景天，字秋士，笔名秋斯、求思、求是、凌空等，1899年出生于清末直隶静海县（今属天津市），1969年“文革”期间受到迫害，含冤而死。董秋斯是中国著名的文学翻译家与杰出的翻译工作者；不仅翻译了多部外国文学名著，也一直致力于中国翻译工作的调查研究、翻译经验交流、翻译期刊的编排等事务；并在翻译理论方面颇有建树，极具前瞻性，为新中国翻译事业的发展作出了突出贡献。...
