On-chip optical interconnects using InGaN light-emitting diodes integrated with Si-CMOS
We propose and design on-chip optical interconnects using InGaN light-emitting diode light source within an integrated process platform with Si-CMOS circuits. The device and system design, simulation, processing, and preliminary results are presented.
